Here at The Crescent, we have being in the care industry providing care services for over 25 years
The Crescent & Co (Yorkshire) CIC in August 2021, following the lockdown in 2020 and the need for more to be done within our community.
Firstly we are in a beautiful grade 2 listed building on the cobbles in Batley and we just love to give every visitor a warm and friendly welcome in our unique and magical space.
We offer room hire for corporate meetings, community groups, charities, training events and well-being services etc, along with a wide range of our own programmed and social events.
We also host a range of fun and magical events for children and the whole family and offer various options around well-being services and treatments.
We deliver above and beyond with our hospitality & services and want people to feel safe, valued and spoilt, as we really do love to give back to our community and colleagues.
What we do
At The Crescent our aim is to bring people together from all parts of our great community, to help combat isolation and loneliness, to inspire people, create opportunity and purpose by having meaningful conversation and share stories over a cuppa.
We have a care & well-being service, a Community interest company & well- being suite.
We provide support, space and resource to people, whilst recognising the importance of signposting.
Whilst offering a choice of one of our first class services we also love the power of collaboration and if we think you’d benefit from some other services we will introduce you to some other amazing people too.

The Crescent & Co CIC
At The Crescent we provide creative conference & meeting space, along with space for training, programmed and social events, from a one to one meeting to large gatherings.
This can be for corporate & business meetings with a full suite of IT & conferencing facilities, we also provide space and help with funding for community groups, charities and start up businesses.
We don’t just hire a room, we provide space, resource and great connections.
We love to empower and support people to keep doing the great things they are doing in the community or help to bring a new idea to life!
It’s all about collaboration and working together!
Well-being Suite & packages
Relax in our beautiful, calm, peaceful & private surroundings in our very own Well-being suite on the top floor.
Our dedicated hosts & professionals will ensure you have a truly amazing & magical experience & the treat you deserve.
We share our beautiful space with other like minded professionals & provide well-being services such as holistic, alternative & skin care treatments, a range of therapies, mindfulness & counselling services.
We will soon be offering weekend retreats, workshops & meditation space.

Our Founder Paula
Paula Chamberlain Founded The Crescent in 2011.
She began her career as a carer over 25 years ago herself, which is where her drive for reimagining care came from.
She is now a passionate social entrepreneur who is determined to change the world of care and raise the standards across the industry, by working in partnerships and collaboration and bringing people together.
Paula started her career as a care assistant within traditional domiciliary care and has also managed large teams of home carers, including setting up franchise models and private care, therefore understands the care world form many different angles.
Paula has a wealth of experience and has worked within residential settings with adults with brain injury, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour and various other client groups including mental health area, children and older people.
She is passionate about inspiring, empowering, creating opportunity and purpose and bringing people together.
Paula has also been on her very own well-being journey and learned to find ways to be a better version of herself and how to look after her own well-being and mental health, especially over the last couple of years and is super passionate about sharing all she has learnt and still learning!
She has learnt so many little techniques and met so many amazing well-being individuals she just can’t wait to share of this with you!
She loves to add her sparkle wherever she goes!
Our beautiful building is now open for visitors
We offer a safe, warm and private space for people to meet.
We are always happy to show people around our building & unique rooms and love to talk about all that we offer.
Everyone gets first class treatment here and we give all our visitors a nice cuppa and a biscuit with a posh cup and saucer!
