During The Summer

We had a very busy summer this year with the running of 5 different camps including; golf, arts and craft, 2 sporting camps & Go outdoors, which gave us the opportunity to offer 1900 funded places for children within the community to come along and join one of the camps. All families that attended our camps were aged between 4-16, Each of these families we help in different ways whether this was gifting one of our food hampers or having our school uniform swap. Lots of friendships were formed throughout the summer. Throughout this summer holidays we help 16 families who struggled with affording the childcare and 8 families who were going through a difficult time. Our camps aren’t just for the children to come to we also have volunteers who come in and help run these camps and enjoy getting to know our children and The Crescent Family.
