Paula Chamberlain – Founder & CEO

Paula Chamberlain is the Founder and CEO of The Crescent. She is a passionate social entrepreneur who is determined to change the world of care and raise the standards across the industry, by working in partnerships and collaboration and bringing people together.

Paula has over 20 years of experience within the care industry and started her career as a care assistant within domiciliary care and has also managed large teams of home carers, including setting up franchise models and private care therefore understands the care world from many different angles.

Paula has a wealth of experience and has worked within residential settings with adults with brain injury, learning disabilities, and challenging behaviour and various other client groups including mental health areas, children and older people.

This is where her passion and drive came from for making a difference and valuing & empowering carers for the great work they do. And add sparkle wherever she goes!

Lorraine Chamberlain – Events Executive

Lorraine joined our Crescent family over 8 years ago.

She looks after everyone and ensures we all have what we need, both The Crescent family and all our visitors.

Lorraine manages and organises our office operations and all our events, including liaising with our partners & associates.

She is a perfect example of what we stand for, she gives everyone a warm welcome and treats everyone who comes through our doors like VIP’s and always shares her amazing sparkle and smile.

She’s usually the one who gives out cake and fruit to everyone!

Sarah Robinson - Community, Fundraising and Events Manager

Sarah has just joined our community team and this new role is just perfect for her. She is known for helping out in the community wherever she can, she has worked in various voluntary organisations and local schools and has worked supporting local families and sports clubs. She has a wealth of experience organising fundraising and social events and has worked in her family entertainment business for over 20 years.

Sarah is so excited to be part of such a caring and friendly team and is looking forward to the future and being part of such a great vision.

Leanne Hyett - Gifting Cellar Team Leader

Meet Leanne, Leanne started at The Crescent just over a year ago on our care side been a care assistant, going out and assisting our clients in their own homes.

After a few months Leanne decided she wanted a change, and she joined our Gifting cellar as she felt humbled and enjoyed helping other people.

Leanne oversees keeping our gifting cellar all up to date with stock rotation from donations we get. Leanne also makes up our food and clothes hampers for those who need them.

Leanne can’t wait to help in all the new projects we are doing helping even more people.
